Good evening, distinguished guest, Ladies and Gentlemen and Friends.
It is with great pleasure to see many government officials, community leaders, media and friends attending tonight’s function. It is our honour as New Zealand Guangdong Association to welcome all of you to our 3rd anniversary celebration.
Since the establishment of this association, we have organised reasonably large social events and have accommodated and paid visit to many recognised associations and government bodies in China.
Our work highlights for the past year have included the establishment of trade related arrangements between Chongqing city, the hospitality given to the governor of Hunan province and its trade delegated, and the successful organisation of the renowned Yip’s children choir concert.
In addition, we have also provided reception to a number of high profile societies and delegations from China specialised in foreign exchange programme.
The establishment of internal and external social networking has become part of New Zealand Guangdong Association’s activities between the government and the community.
Going forward is our commitment to improve further and achieve our mission of being the bridging body to foster friendships, encouraging trade and business interactions between China and NZ.
Finally, on behalf New Zealand Guangdong Association, I wish you all good health and enjoy the night.
Thank
